Reigning Norwegian champion Kenneth Johnsrød is looking experience from Shell Helix Rally Estonia stages
Shell Helix Rally Estonia held on 12-14 of July in South-Estonia is known as an event with strong competition in every class. This year is no exception. Rally Estonia is an Official WRC Promotional event and like in WRC the second strongest category beside WRC cars is WRC 2. This year will we see in cooperation with Pirelli strong R5 drivers from Scandinavia and Baltic States. First of them is reigning Norwegian champion Kenneth Johnsrød with Dyre Erling Fredriksen driving Ford Fiesta R5 from Johnsrød Racing.

Andreas Mikkelsen and Anders Jaeger starting at Shell Helix Rally Estonia with Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC
Hyundai Motorsport is the second WRC manufacturer team to announce their participation in Shell Helix Rally Estonia. Andreas Mikkelsen and Anders Jaeger with Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC are starting at Official WRC Promotional event held on 12-14 of July. Three-times WRC event winners Mikkelsen and Jaeger just claimed their first podium of 2019 at Rally Argentina where they finished second and secured 1-2 podium for Hyundai Motorsport. For Andreas Mikkelsen and Anders Jaeger, currently 6th in WRC, this is the first time to start at Rally Estonia.

Citroën Total World Rally Team crew Esapekka Lappi and Janne Ferm is first WRC entry in Shell Helix Rally Estonia
Citroën Total WRT crew Esapekka Lappi and Janne Ferm will start in Shell Helix Rally Estonia which is for the first time official WRC promotional event. Rally Estonia is held on 12-14 of July in South Estonia. Lappi and Ferm with Citroen C3 WRC isthe first WRC crew from WRC manufacturer team in this year’s entry list. As the conditions are similar to Rally Finland the Finns are definitely fast and one’s to watch for overall victory. Lappi and Ferm have competed in Rally Estonia 2015 with S2000 car. They ended fifth overall.

The dates of Shell Helix Rally Estonia 2019 announced
The organizers of Shell Helix Rally Estonia, the biggest autosport event in the Baltics, confirmed the dates of the next year’s event. Shell Helix Rally Estonia 2019 will be run on 12-14 Julyon the roads of Tartu, Otepää, Elva and Kanepi.
